It's not that I have a problem with the Playmates Classics versions, but they seem to draw more inspiration from the artwork on the 80's cartoon DVD sets than the actual cartoon itself

Ok? I don't really follow comic book sales so much as gossip/rumors. It's a pretty solid title by itself, but with all the tie-in books, it can get a little confusing

What's nice about it is that it's kind of like one big melting pot of different aspects from all the different incarnations of the property over the years. Like for example, the turtles start out with red bandanas like they had in the Mirage books, but then get the multi-colored ones from the 80's tv show once Ralph rejoins them
