Its useless anyway. You still won't make any more than I do unless you happen to have a generous boss. And with a masters you have twice as much loan to pay back.

Get in the field and start doing before you get too deep into a career that you might end up hating anyway.

Shippo might have to settle on just getting his masters in December. The college has been fucking with him since we got out here (promised him a spot in a lab with a professor that made him want to come here, then suddenly "oh we don't have enough money for you because we brought in too many kids" bullshit, which made him go to a different lab, but he likes it there) and now his professor is saying what he wants to do for his Phd isn't what she wants him to do, so she might not fund him, but he's trying for a grant/fellowship or something and he said even if he gets it he might not bother staying.

Meanwhile I am just chilling over here with my GED being glad I don't have to deal with all that crap.
