Yeah, he seems to be getting more aggressive lately.

Guess you could say he was PUTIN up a rouse Big Grin
*snare drum*
*crickets loudly chirping*

In other news, I have my hands on some of the Battletech sourcebooks and shall proceed to pleasure my inner nerd by reveling in fictional sci-fi wartime history

Pal, wish you knew how scared I am. I remember Putin said that those who don't miss USSR, have no heart, and those, who want to return it, have no brains. But now...feels a bit like gradual return of the Union, and not in its best aspects.

Oh, I have no doubt that you are. How Putin got elected as a political official after having been a KGB officer is anyone's guess

I'm now having thoughts in regards to the new Soviet Union forming an alliance with North Korea for the sake of Nuclear warfare

Then we've got Cold War 2.0 on our hands

Well, that's a laugh.
Its not really a laugh. Relations with Russia have gone so far downhill that NASA has pulled out of all collaborative space programs except the International Space Station.

And considering that the Russian functionality on the ISS is also the backbone of its power grid and computing infrastructure, if Russia decided to leave the ISS we'd have a half a station with no controls, power, or crew, and no way to get a crew up to it to put it back in order by attaching replacement modules.

Heh, no one in their right mind would ally themselves with North Korea. At least until they get a new guy.
