Holy shit, this edit would actually make me want to see the film if I hadn't seen the actual trailer.

First off there's no dumb "30 years ago" reference, which is pointless and only harms your film if it's going to be a straight up reboot. They also use the actual music instead of an awful remix to tease people, a trend in trailers that's really starting to bother me. And of course they cut most of the mediocre jokes.

Also I'm not surprised that there are SJW who are hating on the movie. The fact that the only member of the team who isn't white is also the only one (apparently) who's not a scientist seems kind of awkward to me, and I tend not to jump to conclusions about that kind of thing.

Speaking of awkward, rumor is Sony is deleting thousands of comments on the youtube video of their trailer, getting rid of the ones with criticism that makes them look bad and leaving only the overtly sexist/racist ones. Clever of them but disgustingly scummy.

You say that like they're not gonna write her into being a genius who'd rather just work in manual labor. Also, if I the fat white one is anything to go by, all of them are probably gonna be acting like idiots.

Pretty much, we had the weekend, but we figured it'd be better to go during the week, less chance of little kids running around.

We're really looking forward to seeing it, seems everyone really likes it.

Edit: Saw it, was really good, Shippo loved it and was so happy for a furry movie, but I had trouble really seeing it as a FURRY movie, since I grew up with "animal people" type shows and movies, I more saw it as that than a pure OMG FURRIES movie. idk what would have made it more "furry" to me really, which is prolly why I have trouble connecting to furries as much *shrug*

Shippo's inspired to get a fursuit now tho, so that's gonna be fun...
